Imaging Drug for Cancer Lymph Nodes Gets FDA Nod

A new drug to help doctors home in on lymph nodes in breast cancer patients has received the nod from the Food and Drug Administration. The drug called Lymphoseek is developed by Navidea Biopharmaceuticals Inc. It can help doctors determine if the breast cancer or skin cancer (melanoma) has spread to the patient's lymph nodes.
