Acne is one of the many skin diseases that plague human existence




And it is commonly experienced by pre-puberty and adolescent boys and girls, although it may persist throughout life. This condition is characterized by the accumulation of blackheads and whiteheads on the skin, which eventually evolve into pustules (pimples) and nodules. And it is brought about by the clogging and infection of the sweat glands. It may become painful once the inflammatory process begins. And if carelessly treated, they may form scars and reoccur. Now, there are plenty of medical and pharmaceutical methods on how to get rid of acne. But the best and most recommended has always been natural, which will be discussed further in this post.

1. Honey ? Honey is well-known for its healing and antibacterial properties. So it would be more than appropriate to apply during an acne break out. And since it is devoid of chemical ingredients, you do not have to worry about irritating sensitive skin. All you have to do is wash the face first with lukewarm water and soap, dry it off with a clean towel, cover your face in honey, and let it settle like a mask and then peel it off.

2. Tea tree ? This essential oil?s main constituent, the terpinen-4-ol, has an antibacterial effect which makes it effective for getting rid of pimples. When you get one on your face, you can just apply it on the area like a cream and leave it there overnight to fight the infection.

3. Oatmeal ? Another great natural approach on how to get rid of pimples overnight is to apply oatmeal on your face. This naturally soothing ingredient actss as an exfoliant and it will help your skin rejuvenate itself. This can be mixed with honey, lemon, or baking soda, depending on preference, so that they would stick. And all you have to do is rub it on your face and then create a mask, which you will leave on for 30 minutes.

4. Turmeric powder ? This method on how to get rid of acne is quite popular in India. In fact, brides use it before their wedding day to ensure they don?t experience break outs the next morning. Turmeric contains curcumin, a powerful antioxidant with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory characteristics that helps get rid of bacteria in the sebaceous glands. To get its full effect, you just have to put a dab of this spice on the area affected and leave it overnight.

5. Lemon juice ? Like most of the previously stated natural acne treatments, lemon contains antibacterial factors that help relieve the inflammation and remove pimples. But on top of that, the citric acid it contributes also helps in exfoliating the skin, making it look whiter and more refreshed.

All of these can be done with little to no expense. Majority of these ingredients you can actually find in your kitchen. And since they are organic, you won?t have to fear utilizing them every day. The best part about it is, you can guarantee faster results on how to get rid of pimples because of their innate characteristics.
